Sometimes, less is more. The client requested two quiet, low-key, monochromatic carpets that would blend into a room while adding warmth and softness. We decided together on a natural, off-white color, but I had carte blanche for the design. Different textures play a major role here: a loop pile together with a standard high pile, both complementing a shaggy high pile. Three different pile textures in one rug -- and just one color, for a totally fresh, new look.
