Elsebeth was born and raised in the opulent, sprawling countryside of northwestern Denmark. After graduation from the Danish School of Art and Design in Aarhus, Elsebeth relocated to Israel where she developed her distinctive style and unique form of art: translating her oil paintings into exclusive wall tapestries and find rugs, hand-tufted in pure wool. With increased recognition and admiration for her breathtaking creations, world-renowned artists such as Yaacov Agam, Nachum Gutman and Moshe Castel turned to Elsebeth, asking her to translate their paintings into mesmerizing tapestry. Today, Elsebeth's creations can be found in the home of British royalty, in Georgio Armani's fashion house in Milan, in international hotels and embassies, as well as many other private and public locations.
